Civic Works AmeriCorps members tutor students, grow healthy food, create outdoor community spaces, help older adults age in place and more.
You will receive training, a bi-weekly stipend and an education award that can be used for college, trade school or to repay qualified student loans.
To be a Civic Works AmeriCorps member, you must be at least 17 years old and a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National or a lawful permanent resident alien. You will also need to take a background check, sex offender registry check and drug test.
