Civic Works Selected As Top Workplace By The Baltimore Sun

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) December 08, 2014

Civic Works announced that it has been recognized by the Baltimore Sun as one of the Top Workplaces in the Baltimore metro area. Civic Works earned this distinction based upon a survey completed by Civic Works staff.

The Baltimore Sun partnered with Workplace Dynamics, which developed and executed the survey. Baltimore area employees nominated their companies and organizations as top workplaces, and 100 companies were nominated in the 2014 survey. The survey covered a wide range of topics, including values and leadership, career opportunities and training, compensation and benefits, innovation and new ideas, and work/life flexibility.

Companies were categorized as small, medium or large-sized companies. Civic Works ranked #44 in the Top Small Employers category.

“We are thrilled and honored to receive recognition from the Baltimore Sun as a Top Workplace,” stated Dana Stein, Executive Director of Civic Works. “Our mission is to strengthen Baltimore’s communities through education, skills development, and community service. That mission begins within our own organization, and we are deeply committed to providing a transformative workplace.”
