We’re excited to announce that Civic Works has been selected as one of the 200 finalists in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist® program! With your help, we could win $25,000 to build brighter futures for Baltimore’s youth through job training and skills development.

This summer, we will employ 30 Baltimore City high school students through our Baltimore Conservation Leadership Corps (BCLC) program. Participants will experience a summer of hard work and self-improvement, spending six weeks gaining leadership, workplace readiness and professional development skills while improving our city through conservation projects. Our students have a great time working outside, meeting new friends, and exploring Baltimore in a whole new way!

Click here to vote our cause. You can vote up to 10 times a day, every day until June 3rd. The 40 causes that receive the most votes will be awarded $25,000 and you can help us reach that goal! When you vote, give the Facebook application permissions (you’ll only have to do this once), then click on the “Vote” button to show your support for Civic Works.
