2018 AmeriCorps Member and Volunteer of the Year!

AmeriCorps Member of the Year

During his time as an AmeriCorps member with the Cities for All Ages program, Travis always worked hard and arrived on time. Through hard work and determination, during his term Travis managed to not only earn his driver’s license but also purchase his own car!

Throughout his time as an AmeriCorps member at Civic Works, Travis has always encouraged others around him to do their best and has been a great motivation not only to members of his team but to staff as well.

After completing his term of service with Cities for All Ages, Travis committed himself to another year serving with the Community Lot Team where he will continue to develop his skills while giving back to Baltimore.

Jackie Ashun Dadzie
Volunteer of the Year

Jackie first became involved as an AmeriCorps member with the Housing Upgrades to Benefit Seniors program. After completing her term of service, she has continued to show an amazing commitment to the program and as a volunteer has helped to grow the HUBS Donation Closet.

Jackie regularly goes above and beyond to assist the HUBS program and the clients it services, working hard to sure their needs are met. She interacts so well with our clients that they call asking specifically to speak with her!

Jackie is extremely dedicated, helps out whenever needed, and is always happy to be here. Her energy and dedication is a great asset and we are always happy to have her around.
